The Warden’s dog is a small terrier first introduced in Iron Gold, where it is dognapped from the Deepgrave prison warden and subsequently attaches itself to the mute Obsidian Tongueless. Across the series, the dog becomes a symbol of loyalty and resilience, following Tongueless through the chaos of the Rising’s aftermath and serving as a quiet witness to the fractured alliances and shifting power dynamics among the lowColors and their former oppressors.
