Warden’s dog

The Warden’s dog, a small terrier originally belonging to a Deepgrave prison warden, is introduced in Iron Gold as a loyal companion to the mute Obsidian Tongueless. After being dognapped from the warden, the terrier forms an immediate bond with Tongueless, following him faithfully through the chaos of the Rising’s aftermath. Though its role is brief, the dog serves as a rare symbol of unconditional loyalty and innocence amid the saga’s escalating violence and fractured alliances.
