The Zero Legion Armor first appears in Morning Star as the distinctive black draconic skull helmets paired with dark purple body armor and short-swords inscribed with 'cohors nihil,' marking the elite strike force of the Rising. Across the series, this armor evolves from a symbol of covert rebellion into a broader emblem of the new order's most feared and disciplined units. Its design and the Latin motto 'cohors nihil' underscore the Legion's nihilistic commitment to total war and the erasure of the old hierarchy.
