Rolley works as a groom at the royal stables, where his ghostly pallor accompanies his report of the king’s accident. The king backhands him, yet Rolley remains in the stable’s orbit, later hovering with a bucket of water during a fire emergency. He is also noted as a witness to Hamon’s burn and as present during a dinner conversation in the tack room.
Description
Rolley is a male groom whose most clearly described feature is a ghostly pale face, especially striking when he is alarmed. His build, age, hair, and eye color are not specified.
