Teza has the solid, watchful presence of someone accustomed to standing between danger and the person he serves. His long side braid and grave concern give him a blunt, unvarnished humanity beneath the imposing frame.

Teza serves as one of Strangward’s companions and liegemen, a steadfast presence beside him on the voyage. He raises the sail and keeps close watch over Strangward, then argues with him over who should kill Jenna, offering to do it himself. By the time the companions gather again, the journey has left him travel-worn and hollow-cheeked, though still ready to raise a glass.
Description
Teza is a tall, big-framed man, his imposing size softened by a travel-worn, hollow-cheeked look. A long braid runs down one side of his head, the clearest distinguishing detail in an otherwise practical appearance. His clothes are suited to hard travel and life aboard a small vessel, without any described colors or ornament. He carries himself with a guarded, dutiful steadiness. Teza Von is a huge, powerfully built man whose bulk makes him an imposing presence in a doorway or aboard a small boat. He wears a long braid on one side of his head, while the text leaves its color and the rest of his facial features unspecified. His clothing is practical for travel, and he can be seen armed with a sword. He moves with the direct, alert readiness of a man accustomed to guarding his companions. Teza Von bin Miralla is massive and broad-shouldered, with burnt-honey hair braided and twisted into locks. His loose linen shirt is tucked into trousers, with a baldric and belt worn over the shirt and a light cape that changes color in torchlight. Gold cuffs, chains, and pendants crowd his wrists and neck, while wavelet tattoos cover his arms. No weapons are visible, and his richly ornamented silhouette has a commanding presence.
