Shield of Sparrows · Character
Halston
- Minor
- First seen · Book 2 · Ch. 18
A devoted ranger with long black braids knotted at the nape of his neck and large, capable hands that can cup a face with surprising gentleness. As a monster-fighting warrior in a fantastical realm, he has a fit and muscular build honed by years of training with bow and blade, fair skin weathered by the outdoors, and a face that shifts from focused intensity to soft affection when with his wife. He projects the image of a steadfast husband and skilled combatant ready for any threat, standing firmly on two legs with the sturdy posture of an active fighter.
