Alexander Popov exists only in whispers and warnings, a name that carries the weight of a city reduced to ash. He is the kind of absence that feels like a presence—something Moscow Centre conjured to keep others looking over their shoulders.

Alexander Popov was never a man but a fiction, a scarecrow fashioned by Moscow Centre to haunt the ruins of ZT-5-3-2-3-5. Mentioned by Nikolai Katinsky and claimed to have been seen by Dicky Bow, he became a symbol of vengeance rising from destruction. His non-existence made him more dangerous than any living agent could be.

Description

Alexander Popov has no physical form, existing only as an invented figure created from the ashes of a destroyed city. He is described as one of the supposed survivors of ZT-5-3-2-3-5, a phantom presence designed to instill fear rather than a person with tangible features.
