A potter’s son of only twelve or thirteen, Adin dreams of becoming a Windrunner even as an injured ankle and the terror around him make courage difficult. He keeps working and watching, his defiance surfacing whenever he thinks no one is looking. When the fighting reaches its height, he takes up a spear in Shardplate that fits him perfectly—a fragile child’s hope suddenly made startlingly real.
Description
Adin is a short, slight boy, around twelve or thirteen, with curly hair and the still-growing proportions of a child. His face is young and expressive, his determination most visible in a firm, intent gaze; his precise eye color and skin tone are not specified. He wears simple clothing fit for a potter’s household, and his hands are often coated in crem from work. A lingering ankle injury affects his bearing, while his best-known martial appearance is the startling sight of a spear in his hands and Shardplate fitted closely to his small frame.
