Brightness Danlan Morakotha appears as an elegant woman whose auburn hair, green dress, and traditional steel hair-spikes mark her careful style. She moves through the social world with a graceful bearing, and is seen drinking violet wine in a sleek dress. The book offers only glimpses of her, without detailing a larger personal arc.
