Dreaming-though-Awake is a mistspren who serves as an interpreter for the Stump, bringing words across the divide between spren and people. She has read letters from Dalinar and Jasnah, helping carry their messages into the Stump’s world. Though her appearances are brief, her role makes her a quiet conduit for understanding.
Description
Her form is free and fluid, like steam caught in a humanoid shape, with no fixed contours beneath the clothing that contains it. She has a feminine figure and voice, and moves with a drifting motion rather than a firm step. A strange mask is her most distinctive feature, lending her vaporous presence an air of deliberate mystery.
