Gereh is seen as an elderly man overwhelmed by grief, his shaking hands and tear-streaked beard making his distress unmistakable. The text provides no further account of his history or what becomes of him.
Description
Gereh is elderly, with a wispy white beard and eyes reddened by tears. His hands shake, and too many rings crowd his fingers, catching the eye against his fragile appearance. His face and posture convey acute distress; the text does not specify his clothing or build.
