Hamel serves as a spearman in Kaladin’s squad. During the encounter with a Shardbearer, he is killed, his eyes burned out. The text gives no further account of his past, relationships, or character beyond this devastating moment.
Description
Hamel is identified as a male spearman, but his height, build, skin tone, hair, eyes, and facial features are not described. No usual clothing or distinguishing accessories are established. A faithful visual rendering should remain a restrained portrait of a squad soldier, without inventing personal details.
