Nergaoul is a practically mindless emotion spren, known as the Thrill, whose influence can seize people through the force of feeling. By the end of the book, its soul has been put somewhere safe, removed from the reach of those who might wield it. The text offers little personal history or characterization beyond that immense, dangerous nature.
Description
Nergaoul has no stable physical appearance described in the text. It is identified as a practically mindless emotion spren, an intangible presence rather than a figure with established features, clothing, or coloring.
