Nohadon
Also known as Tarak Nohadon

- First seen · Book 1 · Ch. 6
Nohadon seems to belong to the solemn, luminous distance of legend: tall, fair, and carrying himself with a calm that makes even grandeur feel thoughtful. White and gold robes, braided dark hair, and the glint of gold lend him the air of a king who prizes reflection as much as authority.

Remembered as an ancient king of Alethkar, Nohadon is the author of *The Way of Kings*, a work whose counsel continues to shape how people think about leadership and honor. He is said to have walked from Abamabar to Urithiru, and his remembered image appears as a youthful, regal man dressed in white and gold. The gold threads in his hair form a symbol of the Knights Radiant, linking his legendary presence to the ideals preserved in his writing.
Description
Nohadon is tall and regal, with fair skin and eyes described as fairer still. In his youthful image, dark hair is pulled back into a braid, and a short beard narrows to a point. He wears flowing white and gold robes, with gold threads woven into his hair to form a golden symbol associated with the Knights Radiant; a golden symbol is also described on his forehead. His presence is stately and composed, like a figure made for a king’s portrait.
