A Makabaki man and Hoid’s apprentice, Sigzil enters the story among the bridgemen, where the brutal routines of the war camps shape his days. His careful speech and measured manner set him apart, but he remains caught in the same perilous life as the men around him. Through his observations and his connection to Hoid, he offers a thoughtful, disciplined perspective on a world that rarely allows room for either reflection or choice.
Description
Sigzil is short and slight, with deep brown skin and thick black hair that falls around his shoulders. His face is clean-shaven, and his dark eyes often turn downward, giving his quiet expression a guarded, thoughtful quality. He wears the simple, practical clothing of a bridgeman, including knee-length trousers, and may be bare-backed beneath the open sky. His formal bearing and smooth, deliberate speech lend him a composed presence despite his plain surroundings.
