He is glimpsed through the quiet, ordinary dignity of a skilled life: a cobbler known for his work, and a trainer of Reshi chulls. The few details around him carry a haunting stillness, as if the world itself has become too large and too fragile to hold.

Known as a cobbler of some renown and a Reshi chull trainer, he enters the book through the death visions surrounding his final moments. In one vision he stands on a cliff as his homeland crumbles and waters surge below, while the sound of a crying child resolves into his own tears. His presence is brief, but the image of a working man facing loss gives his passing an intimate, sorrowful weight.
