Took is a transient worker, moving from town to town in clothes as poor and dust-stained as those of the people around him. He briefly crosses the story as a drunken, vulnerable figure in the street, and is later remembered among those killed alongside Makkek.
Description
Took is a male laborer whose precise height, build, hair, eyes, and facial features are not described. Dust and dirt coat him so thickly that his grimy skin is difficult to distinguish from his grimy clothes. His clothing is plain and threadbare, little better than a poor worker’s, and his overall appearance is exhausted and unkempt.
