Brightlord Tumul is glimpsed at the edge of a room where words can cut as keenly as blades. The little we see of him gives no easy measure of his temperament, leaving his quiet presence among the assembled lighteyes to speak for itself.

Tumul is a briefly glimpsed brightlord, present during Wit’s session of insults. The book offers no further account of his actions, relationships, or personal history, leaving him as one of the assembled lighteyes who witness the sharp exchange.
Description
Tumul’s physical appearance is not described beyond his status as a male brightlord. His height, build, complexion, hair, eyes, facial features, and garments are unspecified, as are any distinctive marks or accessories. A visual depiction should preserve that uncertainty rather than assign him a particular Alethi appearance.
