Yake is one of the bridgemen who gathers around Kaladin, first noticed among the stragglers and later seen hovering near the emerging group. During a bridge run, an arrow catches him in the arm, yet he remains part of the hard-pressed company. He is remembered as a thick-armed member of Bridge Four, standing with the others in a solemn ring around Kaladin.
