Soot clings to his singed beard like battle scars from the flame's embrace, eyebrows forever absent in tribute to his fiery art. His average frame bursts with performer's energy, the scent of char and thrill lingering. You can't look away from the man who dances so close to the blaze.

Dax appears once as a background fire-breather at the Eolian, his singed beard and missing eyebrows the fresh marks of a performance mishap that adds color to the troupe. He embodies the daring entertainers Kvothe observes in his early University days. His brief, charred presence highlights the vivid street artistry of the world.
Description
An average-build adult man with a singed beard and no eyebrows, his face soot-streaked from fire-breathing exploits. Dramatic performer's attire—a colorful vest and trousers—accents his trade, tools for flame in hand. His features carry the exhilarated mark of one who courts fire intimately.
