Jeremy

Minor

Jeremy fills the doorway like a wall come to life, his bulk reassuring in its solidity. Keys jangle in massive hands, turning with deliberate care. There's a quiet strength about him that promises no nonsense.

Jeremy is a fleeting background figure in The Kingkiller Chronicle series, appearing only once in the first book, The Name of the Wind, as the large man who unlocks the front door in a single University scene. His unremarkable role provides mere access without influencing the grander narrative of Kvothe's journey, and he vanishes entirely thereafter, embodying the series' vast array of minor characters who underscore the world's depth without evolving further. Across the incomplete chronicle, Jeremy remains a static, forgettable presence with no development or return.

Physical Description

A heavyset adult man of large build, Jeremy has plain features and a solid, imposing frame. Dressed in simple working clothes, he handles a large key at the front door with steady hands. His presence is one of unyielding physicality, blocking light until he moves.
