Lord Kellin Vantenier emerges as Denna's ex-patron, a tall dark-haired Modegan gentleman providing lavish rooms, harp lessons, and emerald jewelry. Proud and traditionalist, he watches her via porters in white silk and blood-dyed suede jackets. His square jaw and deep voice mark a brief but generous chapter in her wandering patronage.
