Ria appears briefly at the University as a young woman of about 18, enduring the bursar's peculiar examination where she crosses her legs on command, visibly embarrassed. Her fleeting role underscores the eccentricities of admissions testing under Jamison. She fades into the background of Kvothe's student life, a minor face in the crowd of applicants.
Description
A young woman around 18, with a slender build and soft features touched by an embarrassed flush. Her hair falls simply around a face caught in shy uncertainty, eyes downcast. Dressed in modest commoner's clothes, she crosses her legs with self-conscious grace, her presence quiet and unassuming.
