Caudicus' Tower, an arcane workshop nestled in the southern tower of Maer Alveron's estate, emerges in The Wise Man's Fear as a hub of alchemical intrigue illuminated by red sympathy lamps and lined with bookshelves and glassware. Kvothe infiltrates this clandestine space, uncovering its hidden furnace and bizarre massive stuffed alligator suspended from the beam, while piecing together Caudicus' malfeasance with false-adem root poisonings. The tower meets a dramatic end through destruction later in the book, marking its swift rise and fall across the series with no further appearances.
