The old man seems to have outlasted the measure of ordinary years, his former kingliness worn down to something as stark as weathered stone. He carries a silence that feels older than the threshold where he sits, and his brief words land with final weight.

Once tall and kingly, the old man has dwindled into a withered figure of unfathomable age, sitting at the threshold beneath Dwimorberg. He speaks the western tongue to the passing company and declares that the way is shut. In that same hour, he dies and falls forward upon his face, leaving behind the force of a final warning.
Description
The old man is male and aged beyond any guess of years. He had once been tall and kingly, but is now withered like an old stone, his body reduced by time to a stark, ancient presence. His face, hair, eyes, clothing, and any distinguishing marks are not described.
