Enclosed by a great wall forming a square of 4 miles compass, 10 paces high, whitewashed and loop-holed, with 8 palaces storing war harness (bows, saddles, etc.). Five gates on south face. Inner wall with corresponding palaces and gates. Central great palace on ground floor with 10-palm marble basement and projecting terrace with pillared balustrade; lofty roof; walls and ceiling covered in gold, silver, paintings of dragons, beasts, birds, knights, idols. Hall large enough for 6000 diners. Roof varnished in vermilion, yellow, green, blue shining like crystal. Parks with fruit trees, white stags, deer, gazelles, squirrels, musk animals. North-west lake full of fish with iron grate. Artificial hill 100 paces high, 1 mile compass, covered in evergreen trees transplanted with roots and azure ore, topped with green palace.
