Birch Glen
Birch Glen appears in A Court of Thorns and Roses.
Birch Glen begins as an unnamed, unremarkable woodland fringe in the mortal lands bordering Prythian, little more than a backdrop for Feyre’s early hunts. Across the series it quietly transforms into a strategic crossroads—first sheltering refugees fleeing the war with Hybern, then serving as a clandestine meeting point for Night Court emissaries, and finally emerging as a nascent mortal-Fae trading post whose wards are keyed to both realms. By the later books its birch sentinels are no longer silent witnesses but living markers of fragile peace, their pale trunks literally inscribing treaties in slowly expanding silver runes.
