The White Marble Hallway begins as a symbol of Feyre's captivity and servitude in the Spring Court, where she is forced to scrub its pristine floors under the watchful eyes of Tamlin and Lucien. Over the course of the series, it transforms from a site of oppression into a threshold of transformation, witnessing Feyre's growing defiance, her first moments of agency, and the unraveling of the Spring Court's facade. By later books, the hallway becomes a haunting memory of Feyre's past, contrasting sharply with her new life and power in the Night Court.
