The Gentleman in White Paper appears opposite Alice during her railway journey, dressed entirely in paper. He is a brief and enigmatic passenger, one of several peculiar presences that make the carriage feel less like an ordinary train and more like a passing dream. The book offers no further history or transformation for him.
Description
The gentleman is described as dressed entirely in white paper, which forms the sole distinctive detail of his appearance. The paper covers him from head to toe, giving his seated figure a crisp, unusual silhouette among the carriage passengers. His face, hair, age, and build are not specified, so his paper-white attire remains the defining visual impression.
