His powerful build is almost swallowed by the delicate web of medical leads and tubes surrounding him. The gray monitor disc on his chest lends the scene a quiet, unsettling focus, as if every breath has become something to watch for.

Demchenko is introduced as a muscular Earthman, an artillery spotter receiving intensive care in a resuscitation unit. Sensors and tubes surround him, while a gray heart-monitor disc sits on his chest. His brief appearance brings the vulnerability of a strong body into stark contrast with the precision of medical machinery.
Description
Demchenko is a sturdy, muscular adult man, though his specific facial features, hair, eyes, and coloring are not described. He lies in a resuscitation unit, connected to medical sensors and tubes, with a gray circular heart-monitor disc on his chest. The clinical equipment sharply contrasts with his powerful build, giving him a presence that feels both imposing and fragile.
