Filipp is a field geologist on Terfan and part of the rover team. During a tense moment, he fires missiles at the edge of a canyon cliff; later, the team celebrates his birthday in the station mess hall. The glimpses show both the pressure of his work and the fellowship around him, without revealing a wider personal arc.
Description
The text identifies Filipp as a male field geologist but gives no physical description of his face, build, coloring, hair, or eyes. His clothing is likewise unspecified. In his work setting, his tense concentration at the rover's weapon controls is the only visual cue to his demeanor.
