Ivan Rahmetov is an amateur killer whose appetite for violence is matched by an unnerving, almost playful manner. He carries an arsenal of concealed weapons and poisoned sweets, along with a hand auger that becomes the emblem of his peculiar menace. What defines him is the collision of ordinary casualness with a mind bent toward harm.
Description
The most clearly described features of Rahmetov are his sinister stare and manic, unsettling grin; the text offers little else about his face or build. He keeps a hand auger close, either in his hands or tucked into a pocket, and his clothing must accommodate an array of concealed objects. His look is less one of polished menace than of disturbing, unpredictable intent, with a smile that never quite makes him seem humanly at ease.
