A slip of midnight fur, marked by one small white fleck, he seems to gather the shadows around himself. His glowing gaze and unhurried feline composure make even a quiet room feel a little more mysterious.

First a kitten, the coal-black cat grows into a sleek, somewhat plump tomcat, his small white chest patch remaining a bright signature against the dark coat. He becomes a familiar presence to Maxim, appearing in the latter’s delirium as a talking companion. His image blends domestic warmth with the uncanny, as if the boundary between a real cat and a fevered vision has gone soft.
Description
He is a domestic tomcat with a sleek, coal-black coat, broken only by a tiny white patch on his chest. His body is feline and compact, becoming somewhat plump with time, while his eyes are described as glowing. He carries himself with a self-contained, watchful ease; no collar or other adornment is specified.
