Known by several names, Mike first appears as a young, fair-haired stranger whose beauty and youth contrast with the dangers around him. He travels under the protection and scrutiny of others, carrying the weight of a soldier’s equipment and learning to meet an unfamiliar world with vigilance. His implanted technology, facial burns, and changing circumstances mark the distance between the seemingly uncomplicated boy and the person shaped by hardship. Even so, the clarity and quickness in his gaze remain central to his presence.
Description
Mike is a slim, muscular young man, around twenty, with fair hair, a handsome, regular-featured face, and large expressive eyes. His usual field appearance is a brown-green airborne-combat coverall with a heavy rucksack; a new Luger hangs conspicuously from his neck. Facial burns distinguish his otherwise attractive features, while concealed implants beneath the skin of his shoulders are not necessarily visible. He carries himself with youthful alertness, often watchful and quick to respond.
