Misha’s father is an archaeologist and antiquarian, a scholar whose interest in history extends to old books about war. He is one of the pair of researchers who built their home to resemble a medieval stone fortress. The parents’ determination to have a child with the unusual gift of scent-reading also places him within the strange, carefully prepared world surrounding Misha.
Description
The text identifies Misha’s father as an adult male archaeologist and lover of antiquity, but gives no physical description. His height, build, skin tone, hair, eyes, facial features, and clothing are unspecified. He is associated with old books about war and the scholarly atmosphere of a medieval-fortress-like home; beyond that, his appearance should be left open.
