Mstislav is Ivan’s large, white pet rat, known for sitting on Ivan’s broad shoulder. His inquisitive whiskers and curious manner make him feel like an attentive companion rather than a mere animal at the edge of the scene. When confronted with Martian air, he sneezes, a small and memorable reminder of his very earthly sensitivities.
Description
Mstislav is a large male rat with pure-white fur and inquisitive whiskers. His compact, sturdy animal form is small enough to sit on Ivan’s broad shoulder, where he appears alert and comfortably at home. No other markings or accessories are described. His curious, lively presence is most apparent in the way his whiskers seem to explore the air around him.
