Oleg Divov appears as a real-life science-fiction author and one of the co-organizers of the “Torn Hot-Water Bottle” writing contest. Elsewhere, he turns up seated at a school desk among the extras in a Night Watch mages’ school scene, bundled in warm winter clothing despite the summer heat. His appearances lend the book a playful brush with the world of its readers and fellow writers.
Description
Oleg Divov is identified as a male science-fiction writer, but the text supplies no details about his height, build, coloring, face, hair, or eyes. In his described appearance at a school desk, he wears warm winter clothing incongruously on a hot summer day. Beyond that outfit and his seated posture, his visual features are unspecified.
