товарищ майор

- First seen · Book 1 · Ch. 69
He meets you with a courteous smile and the unhurried calm of someone who never needs to raise his voice. The little cross at his throat complicates the official severity, while his hospitality feels almost more unsettling than open hostility.

The major works for a secret government office concerned with controlling luck, and he conducts his business with disarming calm. During his meeting with Dima, he offers coffee and presents a document for voluntarily repaying a debt from future good fortune. His restrained smile and courteous manner make the encounter feel less like a threat than a quietly efficient transaction, even as the stakes are anything but ordinary.
Description
The major is a male officer whose exact age, height, build, complexion, hair, and eye color are not specified. He is typically seen seated at a table, composed and formally self-possessed, in restrained official clothing rather than any clearly described uniform. A small cross on a chain at his neck is his defining accessory. His measured smile and still, courteous manner lend him an air of controlled authority.
