Akura Malice emerges in the Cradle series as the unchallenged Monarch of the Akura clan, a figure whose authority and power transcend the ordinary. Description
She has a full figure and queenly poise, with pale skin and black-painted lips. Her hair flows to the small of her back, darker than night and billowing like liquid smoke. Her eyes blaze with pure endless purple light. She wears a rich black dress of silken fabric hung with delicate silver chains bearing fat amethysts, and a silver chain around her forehead holding the largest amethyst over her eyes. Malice appears as a figure completely shrouded in shadow, her form obscured by darkness that seems to move with purpose around her. She stands in midair over her mountain, her presence suggested more by the absence of light than by any visible features. The shadows that envelop her create an aura of immense, barely contained power.
