Across the series it evolves from a one-off ambush site into a recurring waypoint whose shifting political and spiritual significance mirrors the protagonists’ rise from hunted outsiders to recognized powers. Its layered formations—once exploited by bandits—later become training grounds, diplomatic meeting places, and finally a symbol of hard-won sovereignty.
