Dungeon Crawler Carl · Character
Firas
Also known as Firas M.

- First seen · Book 4 · Ch. 2
There's a lean intensity to Firas, like a coiled spring in human form, his tall frame moving with the precision of someone who's detailed cars and now wields a mace like an extension of his arm. His eyes hold a steady, unblinking focus that makes you feel he's already sized you up. You sense the quiet grit of a survivor who's turned everyday skills into something lethal.

Firas begins as an unassuming former car detailer turned Hammersmith-class crawler in Book 4, quietly enduring the chaos of the Gate of the Feral Gods while serving as a reliable melee ally under Carl’s leadership. By Book 5, his gentle personality and friendships—especially with Louis Santiago—come into sharper focus, culminating in his tragic death that leaves a lasting emotional impact on his companions. Across the two books, Firas evolves from a background survivor into a poignant symbol of camaraderie and loss within the dungeon’s brutal world.
Description
male crawler, worked as car detailer, Hammersmith class, melee-focused with cleric mace Firas is an average-built adult human male with a relaxed, approachable presence that puts others at ease. His most striking feature is the infected, smudged blue blob of a Bart Simpson tattoo on his ankle, often visible when his pants leg rides up. He dresses in practical crawler gear—simple shirts, pants, and occasionally a hammer cloak—suited for training sessions. His face is unremarkable yet friendly, with short tousled hair and eyes that sparkle with quiet humor. Though not imposing, he moves with the steady confidence of someone comfortable in his skin.
