- First seen · Book 5 · Ch. 12
An enormous long-bodied caterpillar with a thick coat of fuzzy fur and prominent black quills and bristles that cover her form, allowing her to brush past like a car wash when moving at speed. As a Bearded Sage Caterpillar she undulates rapidly through jungle terrain, produces wet chittering and hissing sounds, smells strongly of wet moss, and bears a large saddle on her back to serve as a six-seater mount. While her overall shape appears deceptively cute from afar, her true bug-like insectoid face is horrifyingly alien and best avoided up close.

Description
An enormous, waist-high caterpillar with a long, yellow-and-black segmented body, covered in long, pointed bristles. It has a fuzzy insect face with mandibles and a surprisingly soft body. At death, its body inflates and glows before exploding into green gore and black fuzzy quills.
