Celerity of Bearns starts as a bold young noblewoman seeking Fitz's hand in marriage, her sword-wielding spirit clashing with traditional roles amid Buckkeep's upheavals. Brief courtship turns to alliance as she aids the quest against Regal, her fierce loyalty shining in battle and later as countess. From suitor to steadfast partner in the duchies' restoration, she embodies Bearns' resilient fire, mentioned enduringly in the trilogy's close.
