Foxglove serves as a steadfast female guard captain in Buckkeep, embodying loyalty amid the court's intrigues and Raider threats. She aids Fitz in early missions and training, her athletic prowess a counterpoint to the castle's scheming nobles. Mentioned through the trilogy, she represents the unyielding guard who survives the purges and wars, a minor but reliable pillar in the Farseer defense.
