Eloise is a Hogwarts student whose attempt to curse away her acne goes badly enough to become a cautionary tale. By the time she is mentioned again, the acne has improved, though her nose remains off center. The brief glimpses leave her defined less by the spell's mishap than by the vulnerability of wanting to change what makes one feel conspicuous.
Description
Eloise is a teenage girl with acne, which is later noted to have improved, and a nose that sits noticeably off center. The book does not describe her complexion, hair, eyes, build, or clothing, so these should not be filled in with invented details. Her features are memorable for their natural asymmetry and the visible signs of skin trouble, not for any elaborate styling.
