A Grindylow is a small horned water demon encountered beneath the lake during the second task. It attacks Harry and later Fleur, its long fingers and pointed fangs making it a dangerous obstacle in the water. After a kick leaves it dazed and cross-eyed, its menace gives way briefly to comic disorientation.
Description
The Grindylow is a small water demon with green skin and horns. Its long fingers and pointed fangs give its compact form a distinctly threatening look. Its face can appear cross-eyed when dazed, and its presence is made eerie by its strange, aquatic nature.
