He Who Fights with Monsters · Character
Kyle Lindover
Also known as Lindover, Kyle

- First seen · Book 1 · Ch. 91
Kyle looks as though a forest might be easier to move than a conversation, all immense leonid bulk and heavy boots. There is an unpretentious steadiness to him, and his enthusiasm comes most readily when the subject turns to wood.

Kyle Lindover is a capable leonid lumber worker whose strength and skill are matched by a narrow conversational range. When Jason finds himself stranded at an abandoned lumber mill, Kyle proves to be a decent companion through their three days there, even if most of their talk circles back to wood. He leaves a stronger impression through practical competence than through words.
Description
Kyle is a leonid of massive build, even larger than Gary, with the sort of stature that makes him seem capable of knocking down trees with his fists. He wears a red plaid shirt, sturdy work pants, and huge, thick boots suited to hard labor. His clothes are practical and unfussy, and his presence is solid and imposing. No specific details of his face, mane, or eye color are given.
