Russell looks as if he dressed in the dark and never quite got around to fixing his hair. Yet beneath the stubble and rumpled robe is a handsome face that hints at a more polished man—or at least one who might surprise you.

Russell appears briefly as a disheveled man in a sack-like robe, carrying a blue-and-white marble tablet. His unruly hair and stubble contrast with the handsome bone structure beneath, giving him an unexpectedly striking look. Beyond this glimpse, the story offers little about his life or what becomes of him.
Description
Russell is a man in his mid-thirties with handsome bone structure softened by stubble and an unkempt, unruly head of hair. His robe looks like a rough sack, gathered at the waist with a plain rope belt. The overall effect is rumpled and informal, though his underlying features lend him an unexpectedly attractive presence.
