Undeath transitions from a covert divine manipulator to a fractured cosmic force across the series. In book 10, the god appears as a robed figure with hollow, crimson-sparked eyes, directing a proxy war against Death through his high priest Garth and an underground undead campaign. By book 11, Undeath manifests in two forms: a towering skinless behemoth of red-purple flesh and a lingering echo of power that Jason Asano confronts within his own soul. This evolution marks the god's shift from active strategist to a residual authority whose influence persists even after his apparent defeat.

Description

A living man in simple black robes, with empty eye sockets containing a crimson spark. A tall, imposing male god with corpse-pale skin, limp grey hair, and milky dead eyes faintly lit by purple in the darkness. His face is deathly and still, with a gaunt, undead presence; simple dark robes provide a restrained silhouette around him. In manifestations of his power, he appears as a towering, skinless undead behemoth of red-purple flesh, with wounds glowing from within and empty eye sockets blazing purple.
