Description
Roman emperor who revered the majesty of Serapis in Egypt but prohibited Egyptian gods in the Pomærium of Rome A young man of nineteen with pale skin and dark hair cut in the aristocratic Roman style. His slender build and carefully neutral expression belie the intensity of his dark eyes, which seem to assess every situation. He wears the simple white toga of a Roman senator, his appearance deliberately modest and calculated to avoid drawing attention to his true status.
