Barbatio served as a Roman general of infantry during the reign of Constantius II. He commanded select troops of incorruptible soldiers and was entrusted with the arrest of Gallus at Petovio. Later, with an army of thirty thousand men, he demonstrated questionable loyalty by permitting pillagers to pass and burning boats and provisions, effectively acting against Caesar's interests.
Description
A Roman military officer of middle age with the weathered appearance of a career soldier. He wears the standard dress of a Roman general of infantry, his bearing suggesting both competence and the weight of command over select troops.
